Generation observations are from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), Digest of UK Energy Statistics (DUKES), Chapter 5. The dashboard tracks gas, coal, nuclear, offshore wind, onshore wind, solar, hydro and bioenergy. Smaller/other generation is not included in the tracked-generation total, so that total should not be interpreted as total UK generation. Carbon intensity is the DUKES estimate for electricity supplied, including nuclear and renewables. Values are annual calendar-year statistics; 2025 is the latest year in the loaded series.
